Founded by designer and pattern-maker Janny Jingyi Ye, seventyfive is a London-based brand creating distinctive garments by hand in its North London studio. Drawing on Janny’s Chinese and Canadian heritage, together with her training at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, each piece combines imaginative pattern cutting with clever construction. The craftsmanship continues beneath the surface, with carefully considered seams, linings and fabric placement making the inside of every garment as beautiful as the outside.

Inspired by Chinese aesthetics and the experimental fashions of 1930s Shanghai, seventyfive brings history and contemporary design together in clothing with a strong sense of identity. Vintage and deadstock fabrics are used alongside high-quality British and Irish wools and linens, while natural dyeing and creative patchwork give limited materials a new purpose. The result is thoughtfully made, characterful clothing designed to be worn, appreciated and treasured.
